A Palm State of Mind is a planned outpatient treatment center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. APSOM’s mission is to provide inclusive and rehabilitative treatment to clients via a representative staff. The outpatient center will provide needed and evidence-based treatment for clients struggling with addiction and mental health disorders. Our experienced clinicians and treatment staff will employ a person-centered full case management approach and address several issues that clients face in their day-to-day lives.

Leadership

Gloria Rendon has worked as an advocate for clients with mental health and substance use disorders for nearly a decade. She has progressive experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Gloria has worked with agencies and organizations within North and South Carolina to provide evidenced-based training to counselors, practitioners, non-clinical staff, agencies, organizations, and clients regarding mental health and addiction. She serves as a federal grant reviewer which allows for funding for both of these populations; specifically for underserved populations.

Gloria has counseled and consulted on thousands of clinical cases and has proven leadership and supervisory experience. Gloria is a public speaker and has headlined symposiums on the East Coast. A Palm State of Mind was founded on Gloria's experience as a counselor and is focused on providing inclusive treatment by a representative staff.

A Palm State of Mind outpatient center in Myrtle Beach, SC will provide outpatient treatment services including assessment, partial hospitalization program (PHP), intensive outpatient program (IOP), medication-assisted treatment (MAT), individual counseling, group counseling, and peer recovery support services for those struggling with substance use disorder (SUD) and other behavioral health issues.

The center will allow clients to be placed into the appropriate level of care and begin receiving treatment immediately.
